Ines Bougatef, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr.Bougatef spent the last year furthering her education and we are ecstatic that she is back with AVDH!
Dr. Ines Bougatef has had quite a fascinating journey! Born and raised in Belgium with Tunisian heritage, she brings a rich cultural background to her work as a veterinarian. Her academic path took her from Washington State University for her undergraduate studies in animal science & pre-vet, to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts for her veterinary degree.
Completing her clinical year at Texas A&M, Dr. Bougatef then embarked on a one-year Equine internship in Austin, Texas. Her love for animals extends to all species, reflecting her diverse experiences and interests.
Outside of her veterinary endeavors, Dr. Bougatef finds joy in spending time with her furry companion, Zinha, whom she rescued while in St. Kitts. Her love for exploration takes her outdoors, where she enjoys discovering new places, especially when it comes to trying out different cuisines. And with English being her third language, she adds another layer of linguistic richness to her already multifaceted background, where Dutch and French are spoken at home.
