Jeremy Varga, DVM

Chief of Staff

Dr. Jeremy Varga joined the AVDH team in 2008. He was awarded top surgeon in the Texas A&M 2008 graduating class.Dr. Varga Dr. Varga’s enthusiasm for embracing technology and his commitment to excellence makes him a rising star in national veterinary medicine. He has a special interest in gallbladder, liver, and digestive diseases with pending publications on canine gallbladder disease.

In addition to his pending publication, Dr. Varga, along with Drs. Donop and Hurwitz are presenting his study to veterinarians statewide. Their presentation entitled: Gall Bladder Disease in Pets has been helping DVMs recognize and treat this common yet underdiagnosed disease. Additionally, due to their vast experience in utilizing CT technology, the doctors are presenting: Practical Uses of CT in Small Animal Medicine.

He has attended advanced courses in:

When not working, Dr. Varga spends time with his wife, Abby, their son Ethan, and daughter Emma. In keeping with the AVDH tradition of multiple pets, the Vargas are also parents to an energetic Vizsla named Izzy.
