Josh Pascoe, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Josh Pascoe is a Texas native and a recent graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Growing up in Dallas, Dr. Pascoe developed a love for American Staffordshire Terriers from his grandfather’s kennel in Forney, Texas. Dr. Pascoe went on to attend college at the University of Oklahoma where he quickly ruled out a pursuit in business courses in favor of sciences. After working in kennels and boarding facilities during summer breaks, Josh decided to pursue his goal of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a major in biology and a minor in Spanish, Josh moved back to Dallas where he worked as a veterinary technician for a small animal clinic full-time and at an equine clinic on off days for a little over a year while applying to veterinary school.
Josh was thrilled to be accepted to Texas A&M veterinary school. He initially tracked mixed animals but while he enjoyed working with large animals eventually felt compelled to focus on small animal medicine. During his time at A&M, he joined the surgery and exotics clubs.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, camping, and video games. He is looking forward to joining the team at Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital and furthering his growth as a veterinarian.
“I am super excited to move to the Austin area and work with such an amazing team and client base at AVDH!”
